overall the room is good-sized, brand-new and includes central heating, an individual safe, and a flat-screen tv with satellite channels. private bathroom is immaculately clean.

The rooms were beautifully maintained here with beds so soft, a towel. The location was perfect, near to public transports, in the surprisingly quiet area. Plus, Van Gogh Museum was within walking distance of the hotel.

The food was fab. the staff was nice and understanding. - the location was great, very close to the tram and bus stations. - Near to main tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. - Just 1 km away from a private park.

It was a positive surprise how good the continental breakfast was, we really didn't have too high hopes about that. Breads, eggs, juice, coffee, tea, cereal included in the price of the room. That was great for us backpackers!
The steep (I mean really steep!) staircase and the room in the third floor was a bit of an inconvenience. You'd better get your thighs and buttocks worked out if you want to stay here! =)

Location was great, near nice Square with tram station. Outside Hotel had both lovely canal and buildings.Staff were friendly and helpful and food was good. Room was basic but clean and as I requested room in quite area that was provided.Left luggage was also catered for, which was a big advantage.
The only disadvantage was that stairs, as I was on top floor it was really difficult carrying bags up and down. As in all old Dutch houses stairs is really narrow and steep. Luckily both I and my husband are reasonably fit, but it still proved quite a struggle I.Suppose its the price you pay for experiencing real Dutch life.

The staff were patient and friendly. the location was perfect, not far from the airport. - the room was a nice size, with a lovely backyard view. - I could have stayed there all day.

Location is perfect, near of every major tourists things and easy to go to the airport. Price cheap.
Owners not so friendly and helpful: minimum require. Their staff is much more welcoming.
